PHP5.2 is obsolete — Composer won’t install it. You need to grab old PHP binaries (from php.net archives or Docker images) and run them directly; there’s no “vendor” folder unless a project already bundled dependencies. In short: install PHP5.2 manually, but for any real work upgrade to a supported version.
