Добрый день. Делаю приложение API на Laravel 5.
На наш сервер eBay отправлят уведомления SOAP.
Вот пример того, что приходит к нам на сервер

});И соответственно контроллер (ответ для теста записываем в файл, но также пробовали сохранять в бд как json_encode())

}Как записать массив из данных самого XML (тот что в теге <GetItemResponse xmlns="urn:ebay:apis:eBLBaseComponents"> )?
Что пробовали:
1) $response = new SimpleXMLElement($request);
$value = json_encode($request); // Не получилось (Значения пустые)
2) $response = simplexml_load_string($request); // Тоже без результатно (масив пуст)Некоторые запросы от Ebay приходят сразу в XML и
$response = new SimpleXMLElement($request);
Отлично справляется и ко всем данным можно добраться как:

Лучше всего пользоваться высокоуровневыми библиотеками, а не парсить всё самостоятельно. Существует SoapServer для такой работы.
Проверить, что расширение PHP установлено и класс доступен:
$ php -r 'var_dump(class_exists("SoapServer"));'

Пример не не использует Laravel или другой фреймворк, но это не меняет дела. Просто здесь в качестве "маршрута" используется буквально скрипт в файловой системе, а у тебя будет роутинг средствами фреймворка. Дальше всё также.
