Установка laravel

Привет сообщество, пытаюсь установить на хостинг, буду благодарен за помощь.

composer установился, а вот команда php composer.phar global require "laravel/installer" выдает вот такую ошибку

У вас старая версия PHP, причём очень старая.

Shared? Возьмите VPS и настройте под свои нужды с актуальной версией PHP.

Shared? Возьмите VPS и настройте под свои нужды с актуальной версией PHP.

Да нужно на Shared, спасибо напишу им может сделают.

Подскажите еще вот какой вопрос, хостер дает корень сайта в папке public_html
можно ли для фрейворка установить вместо public --> public_html
