Laravel и elasticsearch

Пытаюсь разобраться, но пока без результатов. Нужды моего поиска сводятся к тому, чтобы находить товары по их имени. Казалось бы, что тут легко подойдёт MySQL FULLTEXT, но нет. Имена товаров сложные - `APK2R AP-1D APE2 Apecs`, например.

Моя реализация поиска предусматривает сначала полнотекстовый поиск по имени продукта. И если там ничего не найдено - обычный like поиск. Но всё это бессильно против поиска по части имени с дефисом (и скорее всего есть какие-то ещё другие случаи). Т.е. поиск `AP-1D` ничего не даст. Как и поиск `AP1D` (пользователь легко может пропустить при поиске дефис)

Решил смотреть в сторону более сложных решений. Для Laravel Scout можно использовать различные обёртки - драйверы. Официально поддерживается только один, который условно-бесплатный и работает не с нашим сервером - Algolia. Но можно создать драйвер самому. Или воспользоваться готовыми. Например:

- Scout Elasticsearch Driver

Первый из списка выше - драйвер для Laravel Scout, который реализует идею полнотекстового поиска. Я подумал, что быть может я сам что-то делаю не так, но нет - поиск не работает достаточно точно. И результат тот же, что и у меня, даже немного хуже, т.к. не предусмотрена поиск like в случае неудачи полнотекстового поиска.

Дальше решил попробовать всеми восхваляемый вариант поиск с использованием Elasticsearch. И вот тут начались вопросы\проблемы с установкой.

1. Как запустить Elasticsearch локально? Указано, что он работает по-умолчанию через порт 9200.
2. Возможно ли потом будет запустить Elasticsearch на обычном виртуальном хостинге? Мой хостер hoster.by даёт много возможностей, но виратуальный хостинг - это не выделенный сервер, где можно всё крутить так, как хочется.

Для локальной разработки я использую windows и laragon - php 7.3.3, apache 2.4.35, mysql 5.7.24. Laravel 5.8. Виртуальный хост разрабатываемого сайта `aspro.loc`, порт 80.

И вот, я устанавливаю Scout, Elasticsearch и Scout Elasticsearch Driver. В прицепе, можно ставить только последнее - у него в зависимостях всё прописано.

Устанавливаю, публикую настройки, как сказано в инструкции к пакету. Меняю драйвер на elastiс.

Также указано, что по-умолчанию коннектится к `localhost:9200`. Т.к. у меня сайт доступен локально по адресу `aspro.loc` - пишу этот адрес вместо `localhost`. А как быть с портом? Предполагаю, что нужно добавить запись в `\sites-enabled\aspro.loc.conf`

Дальше предлагается создать индекс `php artisan make:index-configurator MyIndexConfigurator`. Создаю и не понимаю, что нужно писать в `$settings`?

Немного погуглив сделал вот так (но нет уверенности, что правильно). Я хочу индексировать в модели `Product` (таблица в БД `products`) поле `name`

Как быть? Что я настроил не так? Мне следует установить сам elasticsearch на другой домен? А на основной с laravel поставить только scout и драйвер? И как быть с моим вторым вопросом касательно хостинга? Это будет там работать?

Прошу отнестись с пониманием и терпением. Я готов предоставить любую недостающую информацию для решения вопроса.

Как человек, измученный нарзаном, у меня возникают квантовые запутанности и мне не понятно, в чем сложности..

1. Как запустить Elasticsearch локально?
Зависит от того, где он установлен, для локалхоста обычно это сервис. В debian-like OS будет

service elasticsearch start

2. Виртуальный _хостинг_ это когда у тебя могучая кучка возможностей, но все они прописаны хостером? Тогда увы, установить что либо, не согласованное с хостером будет невозможно. Переходите хотя бы на VPS

Для локальной разработки я использую windows и laragon - php 7.3.3 apache 2.4.35

И вот, я устанавливаю Scout, Elasticsearch и Scout Elasticsearch Driver.

И вот тут у меня возникает резонный вопрос...

Предполагаю, что нужно добавить запись в `\sites-enabled\aspro.loc.conf`

Вопрос остается прежним...

Как быть? Что я настроил не так?

Для работы с эластиком я использую Elasticquent
Но даже он не поддерживает искаропки elasticsearch 7+ и приходится немного докостыливать. Подключение в моделях у меня происходит следующим образом

Такой подход делает работу с моделью совершенно прозрачной, достаточно любую модель базыданных(любой опять же, хоть монго, хоть мускл, хоть редис) отнаследовать от esSearch и далее можно применять запросы к эластику
